So, I have a pretty low GPA and ACT score. I go to the #1 public school in the state, and it’s nationally ranked…so even though my GPA is a 3.44 UW, I think there’s some leeway. However, I know for a fact that my 24 ACT score is super low to be considered for this scholarship. I’m taking the ACT in December, and I feel that my score will be much higher…and if it is, I will definitely send that to BU by the January deadline.

Should I just go ahead and apply for the Trustee Scholarship, or should I wait until my score is better and I have more time to work on the BU supplement?

I heard a small percentage of BU applicants receive this scholarship, so I don’t know if it’s worth it to send in a weak application rather than wait, send a strong application…but no chance for a scholarship.

I’m having the same dilemma with University of Southern California (which is one of my reach schools)
