Boston University Admission Help

I am applying for BU Fall 2017 and I’m worried because I haven’t taken any subject tests. I am applying as an English major.

ACT: 32
SAT: 1390
GPA (W): 4.25
GPA (UW): 3.98
APS: European History (5), Psychology (5), Language and Comp (4), Calculus AB, Literature, Environmental Science, Government
Community Service: 765 hours
Extra: Student Government (4 years), ASB Treasurer, Freshman class president, Varsity Lacrosse (Freshman year), etc.

Do you think I need to take subject tests?
Do you think I stand a good chance of getting accepted?

Also, if any of you know, should I apply for the Trustee Scholarship? I am not sure what scores/statistics typically win, so any information on how that works will help! (Do you need subject tests for the Trustee Scholarship?)

Thank you so much for reading!

BU does not use SAT subject tests for admission. that is clearly stated on their website. You are a match for BU but trustees would be very unlikely. Trustees goes to the top 1 or 2 percent of applicants.

Thank you for getting back to me! I think I will not apply for Trustee then (I thought the same thing that it was going to be unlikely) and spend that time working a other scholarships. Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated!
