Trying the SAT/PSAT for fun in college

I'm just about to graduate from college and would be curious to see in what ways, if any, being in college has affected how I might do on the SAT (or PSAT). In my case, I'm sure the verbal and writing scores will probably change quite a lot, but it would be kind of cool to see if what I thought of as a somewhat difficult test in high school hasn't become easier with time.

Has anyone ever tried re-taking the SAT (or PSAT) several years later to see how their results changed? If so, how did you do it, and how were the results? I'm tempted to try re-taking it again (unofficially) using some of what I still have left from high school, including a few PSAT test booklets. I'm more inclined to use the PSAT since I have 4 of those scores!

I am a college freshman, and I understand where you’re coming from. As crazy as this may sound, I actually miss the standardized testing and college application mania that I and my peers were experiencing a year ago. Through all the struggle and pain something was just deeply satisfying and exciting about it all. I will definitely take the SAT and ACT again just for fun. In fact, I still go on the collegeboard website and do the daily SAT questions lol.

If you get a teaching job with a test prep company, the company might actually pay you to take the SAT.

Glad to know I’m not the only one! How do you think you’ll take it when you do it again? I’m not sure what the best way would be to do it, or if I should make it as realistic to the real thing as I can, haha.

Also, should I try it with the SAT or PSAT?
