Can I retake the tests?

Hello all. This is a bit different from the posts I usually make. I was wondering if it is possible for someone already in college to retake the SAT, subject tests, ACT, and all that jazz?

I only took the test once, in my senior year, and neglected studying. Obviously, my score was abysmal compared to what could have been. Also, my writing sucks. So yeah.

Bump sorry.

I don’t know for sure or have a source, but I’ve heard about parents taking the SAT, so I assume you can too. I would try to do so soon though before the format changes.

Ah, I have heard about the new SAT format starting in…2016, was it? I was considering re-taking the test early 2015, and again if I have to (since I hear 3 is the unofficial “maximum amount of attempts” one should take).

As far as I know no college will take updated SAT or ACT scores taken while you are in college. Those tests were designed for HS students. Of course, anyone who wants to pay for the privilege can take the tests. If you want to know if it will do you any good then contact the college you are interested in transferring to.
