Trying to decide whether to live at home or sublease - one quarter left

Hey, I'm currently a fourth year at UC Davis and although I'm participating in commencement soon, I still need one or two more classes until I graduate. The classes are only offered during fall quarter so I'm going to have to take them Sept-Jan.

I'm trying to decide between living at home (~35 mile commute, about 40 mins by car) and finding a room to sublease just for the fall quarter.
I'm making a pro/con list but I'd like your input as well :)

Pros to living at home:
No food/housing/utilities costs (!!!)
Won't have to cook my own meals - I do enjoy cooking though
Own bathroom
Wider range of jobs/internships in the area

Cons to living at home:
Possible clashes with parents
Can't party as hard/often (will probably stop smoking weed - both a pro and a con)
Have to commute (biggest thing for me, I think)

Pros to living in Davis:
Closer to friends, university, university resources
More familiar
Can bike anywhere
Partying/social life will probably be better, or at least easier to maintain
Roommates might be awesome

Cons to living in Davis:
Rent, utilities, and food costs (!!!)
Roommates might suck
Sharing bathrooms (pretty big for me, honestly)

I'm currently searching for rooms and such in Davis, but until I find something incredible, I'm leaning towards staying at home. Try to convince me one way or another, hah...

no one at all? there’s got to be a couple people who’ve lived at home and on/near campus during their college career.

Do you have savings? How much is the room going to cost? If you have enough disposable income and can afford it, it’s a no brainer to live on your own.

I would avoid commuting AT ALL COSTS. Hate it. If you can afford it sublease that room. It will be easier to focus on academics and less stressful to stay nearby.
