My godson is torn between Wesleyan, Hamilton, and Bates. Finances are the same. he is interested in computer science, math, and maybe physics. Any thoughts on differences in these 3 schools including student culture. He likes all 3 and has resisted all and needs to make a decision in the next week.
Wesleyan is probably the strongest in the sciences overall; with regard to computer science, it’s a matter of what electives he might interested in and which school is likely to rotate them in time for him to enroll before he graduates.
Hamilton from this group appears in a Princeton Review sampling, “Great Schools for Mathematics Majors.” Additionally, their students perform well in both computer science and math competitions:

Overall, Hamilton offers a good balance between the humanities and fine arts, natural sciences and math and social sciences.
Wesleyan would be the other school from this three that, in my opinion, your godson should consider strongly.
