Daughter is a JR in HS and has toured 3 smaller Liberal Arts schools and 1 state university. The large state university had a great art department…but campus and everything else was a negative. We like the idea of liberal arts for her to explore other ideas in case she switches focus. Anyone have experience with a great art program at a small to medium size school in midwest (IL home state)? Toured Elmhurst University, North Central College, Valparaiso University and Northern IL University. Also considering Augustana College, Lawrence University and Kalamazoo College. Truly hard to judge these smaller liberal arts schools since their facilities are smaller. Looking for any feedback on the above schools or others with great experiences.
