Trying to think of a catchy title!

Hi, I was wondering what you guys thought of my chances were!

I am white guy from California. I go to a very good high school. I moved from England to America at the age of 10.

Good recommendations and essays!

Thanks in advance

Also, for the counsler/teacher rec, are you supposed to submit 1 teacher and 1 counselor, or just one?

Are you planning on playing Tennis at 'SC? Have you contacted/interviewed the tennis coach at 'SC? (I dont even know if there is a guys tennis team... just wondering) Coaches can give applicants a boost in the admissions process if they recommend you for admission...

Fight on!

You don't know if there's a guys tennis team? 'SC has one of the most storied programs in collegiate tennis, with the second most national titles after Stanford... and one more than UCLA I might point out.

I'm taking a tennis class taught by the assistant coach, and I love it!

And on subject, Athletics, your stats look good, and if you show dedication to all of your ECs, not just tennis, then that will help a lot, too. To tell you the truth, though, it's hard to judge who's going to get in these days since the admissions standards just keep going up.

And, also, I'm an old fogie, but what are the new SATs out of? This is going to take a bit of getting used to...

it's out of 2400

Thanks! So I'm assuming, since each test is out of 800 now, about a 2100 and above is considered really good, since a 1400 and above was pretty top notch before, and then about 1800 or so and above is good. If that makes sense to anyone else but me...

The way I think about it is, old SAT (1600) and writing (800). But whatever is easier for you.
