Tuesday Or Wednesday!!!!!

I'm in Baltimore City...

Do you go to Pikesville?

I'm at Baltimore City College

Annandale, where do you go to school? Justa' curious.

Nah. I go to Towson High for Law and Public Policy Magnet

A Horse a horse, my kingdom for a horse...

i go to Annandale in Fairfax County....

haha oh, yes. How silly of me. I probably shoulda' figured that one out.

its all cool

we are all stressed....

i was gonna say "take a guess", but then again I didn't expect you to know all the FCPS schools.

Like the only DC schools I know are Ballou (mercury spills) and Anacostia (shooting)....I assume you go to a prep school or something...I feel so bad for kids who go to DC public schools....I really want to come back and help them. Its unbelievable the difference that exists between DC and the suburbs in Fairfax, VA and Montgomery, MD just few miles away. its so sad that it almost makes me sick.

Yeah, the DCPS system is grim. We're luckier than we know not to be part of it. The average SAT score at Anacostia is 650.

its not the fault of the kids....

if you have shootings every now and then, and you are scared of getting killed, and you have metal detectors and people treat you like criminals....how do you expect those kids to perform well? They live in constant fear and they don't expect much in their future. I wanted to tutor kids there but my school didn't allow me, they said it was "too dangerous."

such a shame that the people in the nation's capital live in such plight...while all the people who work there live in nice houses in NW, NoVA or MD.

It's clearly not the kids' fault, if you think I was implying it is. I went to Eastern in SE a couple years ago to sing with the chorale there (AMAZING, by the way), and it was really depressing. The kids seem happy enough, but it's only because they don't know the opportunities they miss out on.

I'm in a real urban Baltimore City public school, and we don't have shootings...

The irony

haha I'm about to sound ignorant: is Baltimore City the same as Baltimore? I'm guessing not...?

"The average SAT score at Anacostia is 650."

and ten miles away in TJ the Math score ALONE is 700ish!!!!

there is a Baltimore City and Baltimore County....I think County is South of the City coz you hit it on 95 before you get to the city going north from DC area

Theres a big difference between the city and the county, its one metropolitan unit, but neighborhood by neighborhood there can be huge differences....

The county wraps the city, but most of it is above

when I used Fedex website, it says that the priority delivery will arrive in Europe on Tuesday 13th, if it was sent last Friday or Saturday. (I assume Princeton will use Fedex or similiar kind of company)

I hope this is true for most of internationals. :)

CityKnight-

Man, coincidences. I definitely remember seeing you (or at least, your school / group of kids) at nationals during awards... City College was sitting on the left side on the bottom floor. I remember cause my dad went to City College, so when I heard a kid from City College win (presumably you) I was like... damn... my dad went there.

But we're in st. louis now.

good luck!

everything I care about is black and orange baby:

my school
orioles
princeton?

I read on some forum that decisions are always mailed on the second Friday of December, regardless of the number of applications. i checked for 2008 (25% decrease from 07) and 2009 (10% increase from 08) and this held true, which means we could get letters monday or tuesday (for continental us)

I really hope you are right but then why did some peopel hear that the 14th was the mailing date?

Also- if they mailed Friday, NJ people would have recieved on Sat.

Do you remember what forum?

Guys, I'm still trusting that email I got from my friend in the admission office. I wouldn't hold your breath for tomorrow or Tuesday (or Wednesday, even).
