I'll try to make this short and quick!
SAT I: 2100 (Oct 07) and am retaking in May; theoretically should be 2200+

NO SIGNIFICANT AWARDS

UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS:
-My counselor said I seem very level-headed and relaxed, and she says that it's refreshing to see somebody as calm as I was at my very competitive high school.
-GPA upward trend... Sophomore year GPA: 3. 8~. Junior year GPA: 4.33
- TENTATIVELY am planning to double major in history and in fine arts ( unusual for an Asian)
- STRONG STRONG interest in Tufts..but I won't apply for ED1 unless I visit. I'm not sure if I can visit....
- I've written some college essays for practice/summer programs, and people raved about 'em.
- I pierced my own ear the other day. I think that deserves merit.

other schools i'm considering: Colgate, Middlebury, UCLA, Bowdoin (ekk), Wesleyan.
Can you guys recommend some schools for me?

I advise you also take another SAT subject test, since I believe they only look at your highest two. That way the bio shouldn't impact your admissions. With a retaken SAT I and a third SAT II you should have a good shot. I know interest in the arts should help (my friend who did not have stellar grades got in ED for with intended double major in theater and education). Focus on your artistic and creative aspects in your application. It will definitely help if you show great interest

(this is assuming 2200+ on SAT and +700 on a third SAT II)
Colgate- Fit
Middlebury- High Fit
UCLA- In state so you should get in
Bowdoin- Why ekk? Not used to the cold? =P High Fit
Wesleyan- Fit

why retaking a 710 but not 500? i would retake bio instead, or just take & do well on another sat ii, if sherlock is right about just looking at the highest 2.

i don't know what you mean by "theoretically" 2200+...until you actually get this score, i wouldn't take it for granted.

that said, i would say chances are more like
Colgate - match
Middlebury - reach
UCLA - high match
Bowdoin - low reach
Wesleyan - low reach

In June I am taking US History, Physics, and Math 2c. Let's say that I score at least 750 on each of those subjects. Those scores wouldn't offset my horrrrrrible bio score???
