Rejected Tufts, waitlisted at Harvard… weird.

Accepted!!! I was too excited to post last night… Proud to be admitted to this great school!
Rejected, but got into Princeton, Brown and Cornell!
Waitlisted…will probably put a deposit down for Brandeis but pray for a spot @ Tufts
@schroscat girl, you got this!! I am going to do the same thing too. I’ll show them what i got at one of the small private schools here in Boston, then transfer 
@marebear16 I’m so frustrated, omg. I have until Wednesday to make a decision, and I don’t know what to do…
@marebear16 that’s what I was thinking too. Was first thinking of going to BU for a year, but I might as well stay home and wait it out a year
My DD got her admission packet on Saturday. It included financial info.
@Pepper17 How did your offer turn out? DD accepted but no idea on financials.
@wetsunshine , the aid was better than we expected. She was given a nice grant and then named as a Balfour scholar so any loans were replaced with grants. We are pleasantly surprised.
I was named a Neubauer Scholar, which essentially replaced any loans with grants as well, however (as expected), still have a higher family contribution to pay than other schools I was accepted. With all things considered, I will unfortunately not be attending Tufts next year. Congrats and good luck to all of those who will be!
No scholarship for DD - just a too small amount of grant money. Congrats to those who were recognized as scholars…we will appeal b/c our situation is worse than it appears on our 1040s but not terribly hopeful.
I officially withdrew my application from Tufts. Congrats and good luck to whoever takes my place!
