<p>I am applying to Tufts ED 2 and it is very important that I can guess what the exact notification date is. I know they say it's in "early February," but I am wondering if any of the pros on this site can tell from past years and any inside info when it may be this year. Thanks so much--- this is very very important.</p>

<p>You can go back and look at posts on the Tufts forum from a year/2 years/3 years ago and see when ED II decisions came out. Searching on thread titles like “ED II Decisions” and “ED 2 Decisions” might also work. </p>
<p>What’s that? You think I know a little too much about this? You think that I actually did this for ED I/1 decisions? Shhhh, don’t tell anyone…

<p>Great thanks for your help. A couple years ago, they were supposed to be notified on February 6 but there was a technological problem that caused a delay. I’m not sure when they were notified last year though. Perhaps someone with more insight than me could be of further assistance? Thanks</p>

<p>Nope! We have, as we always have, a healthy applicant pool. Our leadership feels (and I agree) that talk about the number of applicants every school has each year acts mostly as a way to fuel the fires of anxiety around college admissions, so we shy away from participating in that.</p>

<p>I called Tufts, and the woman on the other line told me that the decision date is February 15th. It seems a bit later, if it’s true, than previous years, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see :)</p>
<p>On my son’s TAMS page, his app is showing as being in the regular decision pool. He applied EDII and it did say EDII just last week. So…has he been deferred RD? I thought a deferral wouldn’t show until the notification date in February. Dan???</p>
