Tufts' grading system

Question: A B C D F or A- A A+' etc etc?

I personally prefer it without the pluses and minuses.

There are -'s and +'s. Weighted accordingly EXCEPT for A+ which is a 4.0 (ie, = to an A or 4.0)... so the + is just a merit, but does not add to your GPA. As a result the highest GPA attainable at Tufts is 4.0

So is an A less than a 4.0?

no, an A is 4.0

both an A and A+ are 4.0

does anyone know what the point range is for an A+?

^ depends on the department of the course. Ex) Math courses require above a 98 for an A+ and chem course, at least chem 1/2, require above a 96.67 for an A+

any idea for community health? is there somewhere online i can find this info?

i tried looking for the CH dept’s grading policy as well and couldnt find it. apparently you need at least a 93 for an A… -_- so close :(
