Tufts Interview

So, I'm finishing up my supplement for Tufts, and there's the option of requesting an alumnus interview. How much emphasis does the interview place on the acceptance process? I'm just wondering, because Tufts isn't my number one school and it's location is really far from where I am, but I was just really drawn to it..

That being said, is the interview at tufts THAT important?
Have people gotten in without one?

Thanks!

My interview was the worst interview in the history of the universe.

I had recently had another interview with another college the week before. That interview lasted an hour and a half and was awesome.

I didn’t get into the second college. I obviously got into Tufts.

Nevertheless, I would request an alumni interview. At the very least it will help you understand more about the school (especially if your interviewer is young).

The interview is not important to your chances of admission. Request it if you’d like to do it, but don’t sweat it if you’re not so inclined.

TuftsStudent, my son could have written your post!
