Tufts is...?

numberone: on what do you base this? I think Tufts is highly UNDERRATED given that most non-professionals do not even know it exists. Please back up your assertation with facts or evidence.

Does Tufts still have the beautiful cherry blossoms around the square? When do they blossom?

tufts vs NU?
any comparisons?

^ Northwestern or Northeastern?

Yes. tufts vs NU? i have the same question....

I never got the viewbook! But I do want to major in English, so I'm wondering what it said. Anyone super nice care to type it up and post? 0:)

I LOVE Tufts. The people, the campus, the Boston, the education. I'm still making my decision, but it's come down to Tufts and one other school.

I also got into Northwestern, but I eliminated it from my decision for a lot of petty reasons. I should probably still consider, but I'm trying to nail down my list and the little reasons I like Tufts more do add up to something big.

I heard Northwestern is more prestigious though, even though this doesn't matter to me. But I'm curious, is that true?

While no one can really type up the viewbook - and I have to admit it's very beautiful and well written - this might provide a substitute.

But I would say yes, in a general consensus, Northwestern is more prestigious than Tufts.

i haven't made my decision yet, but i'll have you all know that tufts is ahead of the 4 ivies i got into

tufts is the shiznat!

Oh if only ph0enix could post so he could belittle you for your "stupidity" in turning down ivies!

I've never heard that Northwestern in more prestigious than Tufts - I thought that, to begin with, they focused on different areas of learning. It's difficult to gauge, anyway.

nah, i do think the general consensus(spelling) is that northwestenr is indeed more prestigious than tufts. I guess in terms of their name recognition MAYBE (after all, its in the cc top uni page)? and their recruiting is probably better. But tufts is still great and ill probably be going there!

Yeah I'd say that Northwestern has more of a name. But not necessarily better for individual students.

at every college I've visited so far, the people, while being VERY proud of their respective schools, have all said "ooh, tufts...my friend X goes there and is having a GREATtime" when I tell them where I'm deciding between.
