Tufts recruiting?

Hi there,

I am seriously considering applying at Tufts for graduate school. Is Tufts a well-regarded school among employers, especially the ones that hire people out of graduate school?

I know that Tufts recruiting is not exactly like PSU's but I feel that, for my field, Tufts is more accessible than PSU to get in as far as grad school is concerned.

You didn’t mention what your field is. I don’t know specifically how to answer your question for your field, but perhaps you could contact someone in the Career Center and ask them some questions?
Here is a list of companies that participated in the Fall Career Fair in September -

Your question is a bit hard to understand, but I’ll try to answer it. As Beantowngirl said, it would be helpful to know a bit about what field you’re going into. In general, though, Tufts is well regarded by employers and grad schools, and when I graduated, my friends and I all found jobs with top employers (plus friends who got into top law and med schools).

I did my undergrad at Tufts, though, so I’m not sure if it’s different at the grad level. I think it might be helpful to meet with someone from the program you’ve been accepted to and have them give you the list of employers of recent grads. That should start to give you an idea.

Physics (although my dog is dead for Tufts as of now, and, after I get my MSc at home, I can get into much better PhD programs in the US than Tufts’)
