Tufts probably has a better rep on the East Coast, but which of the two has a better rep on the West Coast (namely San Francisco)?
Better rep with who? “Man on the street” or prospective employers? Both are excellent schools and a degree from either will not limit you from any prospective employers or grad schools.
@1012mom Thanks for the reply! And, yes, I was referring to grad school/employers.
Grad schools make it their business to know all the schools.
As for employers, depends on who you talk to. This is highly influenced by where they went to school, who their friends are, if they have family in another part of the country, etc.
I would not choose between these schools based on that. Figure out which one has the best program for what you want to study and which environment you prefer.
