<p>My best guess would be that the essay topics are not identical for transfer applicants as they are for first-year applicants especially because of the completely different backgrounds the two pools come from. Call/email someone at the admissions office. But I don't think you have anything to stress out about just yet. And do keep in mind that they're working on ED II apps now and then the RD apps before they even touch the transfer pile.</p>
<p>I called admissions, the lady I spoke to didn't seem to know what she was talking about, and said she thinks the transfer supplement is the same as the first year which makes zero sense to me.</p>
<p>Just wait. And talk to someone who is more informed.</p>
