High reach/no chance: MIT, Upenn
Mid reach: Tufts, NYU
Match: BU, NEU, RPI, UConn

When I saw this post I was excited, well, because I’m a Upenn alumni! I think you have a chance of getting into the school, but it will be a challenge. The six other schools - the ones beside MIT - are all very achievable. I hail from Massachusetts, and I do not know here you reside, but I hear Southern Connecticut State University in CT is a very good school. You’re grades and achievements will get you into Southern. Good luck on your SATs.

MIT: High reach
UPenn: High reach
Tufts: Reach
NYU: Reach
BU: Match
NEU: High match
RPI: Match
UConn: Low match

UMass Amherst is out of the question for you?

@Catria‌ I dont really care for the location of UMass. I prefer suburban and urban areas.

If it helps, I also have 200+ volunteer hours from a local political campaign and the local library; and I was a part of my school’s honor guard. I attend a public high school.
