Hi Pearsilk! Don’t know if you will come back here to post but for all you curious and helpful responders, I know Pearsilk and she will be attending Tufts in the fall Good choice for her!

If you truly want a “well-rounded” curriculum and experience as you say, you should go to Brown, you can take pretty much any course you want, which seems to be right up your alley… Plus it’s an Ivy League school, and Brown’s just awesome(: (Yeah, even though I’ll never get in, Brown’s still my dream school, I’m a bit biased haha)

Normally I always am biased towards the “go with your heart” decision. But this particular choice just shouts Brown. Brown is the quirkiest, most laid-back Ivy and socially its one of the most fun colleges around. Its also academically superior. The OP gets to have his cake (social life) and eat it too (academics) with Brown. I know both campuses very well and I’d much rather hang out on the Brown campus, I thought the student life at Brown was much better. I think the OP is biased against Brown for some reason due to the Ivy label, what the OP doesn’t understand is that Brown is an Ivy exception. I hope the OP chose Brown.

I guess neither of the above two posters bothered to read guidedog’s post. Congratulations to the OP! You’ll absolutely love Tufts! :)
