tuition costs of double majoring

I feel like this is a stupid question.

But does double majoring significantly increase the cost of tuition?

For example, if you have to pay for units, wouldn't this greatly increase the costs? Especially if your double majors are on very different sides of interest. (my reasoning here is that certain classes or prereqs cant apply to both majors)

While I'm here, what is the price per unit at UC Berkeley and is that the main cost associated with tuition, or is it living expenses?

costs increase exponentially, but to the decimal point

so ur current costs for one major at ^1 power
second major added on is ^1.1
third major added on is ^1.2

You’re charged a lump sum amount for tuition for the Fall and Spring semesters. This semester is ~$4000. Thus, you can take as many units up to the limit specified by your college (but of course, that’s not feasible in most cases). You’re only charged on a per unit basis during Summer Sessions.

If you can graduate in 8 semesters, there is no tuition differences (ignoring summer school)

If you are a man, you can take over the unit limit and spend your whole time studying and get it done on time.

^Not really, there is not guarantee that your classes for your two different majors can feasibly be put together, often you will have timeslot conflicts that doubling in 8 difficult
