I have been accepted to UF as a transfer student however I have not received any paperwork or emails saying I need to pay my tuition deposit to accept my admissions. I am confused. I found a website (UF Admissions) but I got deterred since it talks about freshmen only, not transfers. I have already officially declared my admissions when I emailed the college of mechanical engineering. Do i still need to pay my enrollment deposit? and if so where?!

Thanks,

Hi, I had a similar dilemma, and when I spoke to someone in Admissions they informed me that Transfers don’t have to pay a deposit. You show your intention to enroll by either paying your housing deposit, filing a contract, etc., or by picking a Preview date and paying for it.

Hope that helped :)

great; thank you so much!! I already paid for my Preview so I’m set. :)

did you apply for spring or fall? I applied for spring and still havnt had any feedback! -__-

Whoaaa, relax. You are not going to hear about spring probably until after October. The deadline for people to hear about fall was in June. I actually had a friend who applied for Summer B, and didn’t hear back until the middle of June. Be prepared to hear back in October-November, it takes them awhile.

wow that’s crazy long to wait… okay thanks! :)
