Hi all, this is my first time posting. I am currently a Freshman at Saint Johns U in Queens. I am looking to transfer to Fordham only if I am able to receive a Tuition Exchange scholarship. Does anyone have experience with TE as a transfer or just in general? I am curious as to what they are looking for since I did not receive TE from SJU last year.
I don’t know about Fordham in particular, but in general colleges need to balance their scholarships given with the scholarships that their employees give. Some places give TE to essentially everyone who applies, others it is extremely competitive. Fordham seems to be in the competitive group, “Competition for Tuition Exchange at Fordham is exceptional, with over 150 talented students typically applying for a limited number (6-8) of awards each year.” So, an acceptance rate of about 5%.
I believe Fordham is looking for students who are exceptional, either academically or in some other way.
You would need to talk to the tuition exchange coordinator at the college where your parent works. They will tell you what to do.
Thank you! That’s very helpful
