Tuition increases 2009/2010

S private college will rise 3.8% bringing tuition to $39,150 Lowest increase in 35 years... Sounds funny when I say I was thrilled that it didn't go any higher, when that total figure is so huge...

Okay, if you want names this is what I've gathered so far:

Yeshiva 0%

UMiami +3.9%
WUSTL +4.4%

These are tuition numbers only, so can be deceptive. Often room and board numbers increase by a higher % than tuition.

A slight correction of researchmaven's numbers above:

The Notre Dame tuition increase for 2009-2010 is 4.4%.

I got that same letter, MilwDad. Ouch is right.

Do I understand correctly, that for the case of a student receiving FA from a school that meets 100% of need, the tuition list price is irrelevant, since the EFC isn't changing? I understand that for other cases it's very relevant! Thanks.

vossron, I think the numbers in the table reflect the "list price".
