I just wanna know if (the Iraq/ Afghanistan conflict) is a "time of war as determined by the Attorney General..."

I can't find this information anywhere... and it is Spring break, so my VA coordinator wont answer my emails. WWII, Korea, ad Vietnam are examples of "real wars" according to the Attorney General.

I think, technically, any conflict in which you receive a service ribbon for is automatically covered under that definition/clause.

Are you talking about receiving G.I. Bill benefits? If so, then yes, OIF is covered under it.

No. My state offers a tuition waiver for honorably discharged, in-state VETS if they meet a few other requirements: (like your GI Bill has to have run out). I would be eligible if I had been deployed… but I was not. I won 8 medals-- including the global war on terrorism service medal… if that was the Global war on terrorism Expeditionary Medal … then I would be eligible. But both of those medals were created by the same exceitivxe order.
