I am currently considering Tulane's 5 year BPH/MPH program (public health). It seems to be a school with so many resources, great professors, and unique people. I like the school but I don't know whether it is well recognized for employment opportunities later. I'm considering Tulane over UCDavis and UCSD.
Davis major: Neurobiology, physiology, and behavior
UCSD major: Political science (public policy) and a possible global health minor

Those are great schools too and relatively close to home, but Tulane is the only one with an undergraduate public health program.

Also, would it be more advantageous to have an undergrad degree in public health or to have a more diverse background in bio or public policy like davis and sd provide? Would going to Tulane, straight into public health be very narrow-minded?

Anyone have any thoughts on the school/this program/or any advice if I were to pursue this program at Tulane?

I would be greatful for any advice. Thanks!
