That’s weird, my DHS is gone, but my PT is still there…
I’m thinking the same thing. lol that’s a bad sign for me but it makes sense based on the fact that my checklist disappeared a bit before I was accepted EA, and my friends who were deferred still had theirs
yeah I agree, when did ur guys checklist disappear?
For me, I just noticed it last night when someone here on CC asked about the checklist. Not sure if the checklist might have been gone earlier though. But what is the likelihood that this many of us
(out of a small group here on CC) who are missing a checklist got an award. I think the number of awards overall is small. I think they may just be getting ready to post whatever decision is coming - bad or good.
yeah thats true theres no way to tell until we find out this week…is it still missing? I remember during EA it disappeared and then came back for me
Checklist disappeared but then came back before EA decision, so not sure that means anything. Just checked Gibson FA document “Done List” and 5 items have and updated status date of today (1/31).
oh what does it say? did you get accepted ED/EA/EDII already?
Nothing changed in my FA Done List. Did anything DH or PT related change in yours? This whole thing is mysterious lol.
Only did PT, not DH, and no change there.
What is considered a “highly qualified” candidate for Tulane? I heard that some students were deferred because of stats if they didn’t show enough demonstrated interest?
My D got the invite too but she felt it was for first gen students. Is that not the case? Is it for everyone?
Does anyone know whether Tulane will ever consider additional merit once the offer has been made? Top choice for my daughter but still a gap in what is feasible financially. We are in CA and she will likely have UC options but we won’t know until mid-March. If there were an additional $8-$10K in merit, it becomes much more feasible. Any guidance on process here? She also got a very modest unsubsidized loan.
Sorry missed this part earlier - yes the checklist is still missing. Basically what that looks like, on the screen where the application deets should be, is a grayed-out bar that says Account Tools: Change Email Address, Change Password, but there are no links to do any of those things. Then just a big empty white space underneath it lol.
I have this too, but if I hover over “change email address” it turns blue and I can still click it. I also have the huge white space underneath this
I agree with greedo (the greyed-out bar is still clickable). Also, at the very top of the portal there is a drop down menu that says “2021 Early Action.” If I click on that, it shows the the received PT info.
Today is another normal day. Be patient…
When I click on that drop down menu and select the award application option, it takes me to the gray box and empty white space (no checklist of received stuff anymore). I assume they are doing the IT work to get ready for whatever letters they are going to post there good or bad. But it’s fun to compare notes lol.
My daughter’s application check list for PT Award looks the same as it has since she submitted her application. Now I am worried that if she does not have any change that this means something… Ug.
No idea, but I looked way back earlier in this thread about “portal changes” during EA, and I really couldn’t see a consistent relationship between someone having a portal change or not and getting accepted EA. Maybe someone smarter than me knows something different
My portal never changed and I was accepted EA so it could mean anything! I think we just have to wait until Thursday or Friday and then we will know for sure Good luck everyone!
