Hi! I wanted to know more about Tulane University. If you go there already, what were your scores? Are any of you out there planning on applying? And I also wanted to know about living in the school in general, things like:
-academics
-living (food, dorms, etc.)
-city life (is it a college town?)
-school spirit?
-student body
-what you're studying or have studied?
-overall idea of the school

Thank you so much!

I’ve applied and been accepted to Tulane! I have a 34 ACT and 3.89 unweighted GPA, and I live about an hour from New Orleans so I’ve been there hundreds of times. I definitely wouldn’t call New Orleans a “college town,” but it’s undoubtedly one of the most unique, personality-filled, culturally-diverse cities in the world. That said, it’s full of the connections, resources, food options, and just amazing experiences you could ever want for your college years. The campus is really gorgeous-- I toured in December and fell in love. It reminds me a lot of Vanderbilt, very green and beautiful and college-y, so it’s like a little haven in the middle of the city. I’m not sure about the food on-campus itself, but what more could you ask when you have all of the food options in NOLA? Anyway, I am a prospective International Studies major and they have a great program if you’re interested in that.

I toured in **September, not December.

try the Tulane forum, as Rocky suggested. There are a couple of very helpful folks over there.
