Tulane, UW, Santa Clara or Chapman for Business

Any last minute input on the decision between these business schools? UW is state school so best price but didn’t get admitted to Foster Business and can be very hard to get into sophomore year. Got scholarships at all (smallest at Santa Clara) Also hoping to return to the West coast which is my reservation about Tulane. Thanks!

@kmbp54 Ranking these Universities in general and not thinking of costs I’d say Tulane > UW > Santa Clara > Chapman. With regard to undergrad business, Freeman is the best business school out of these four. And the best ranked school overall. A fair number of Tulane students come from California, so I assume they have a decent alumni network there. UW Foster is stronger then Santa Clara and Chapman. However, since you didn’t get direct admit to Foster and since you want to study business its the most risky choice. Because it’s always better to go with a sure thing rather than hoping you can do an intra-school transfer which is difficult. On the other hand, sometimes students interest change. Since UW is the lowest cost, you could try it there for freshman year and if you still want business you can apply to Foster. If you don’t get in, you can then transfer to Santa Clara or Tulane. With the money saved at UW for a year you would be able to better afford these other two more expensive schools. Let us know what you decide. Best of luck!
