My D accepted to both thinking pre med or pre health. Pros and Cons of each school!!! Is one better than the other? Thanks
One is not better than the other. They are both great, so your daughter must have romped in high school. They both have med schools and both churn out a lot of people who go into health related fields. And to top it off, they are both big into Neuroscience! (Called “Cognitive Studies” at Case) The tie breakers: (1) comfort with the culture of each school (Do visit, if possible); (2) the City (I know Cleveland gets a bad rap, but it has its defenders. New Orleans is unique and great.); (3) sub-specialties within the rubric of “health” (Are there specific topics that your daughter is interested in that one school has more focus on?); (4) research and internship opportunities. (Tulane is very strong in that area. I’ll let others chime in about CWRU.) Best of luck to her!
