Tulane vs. Madison vs. Indiana

I am very torn between 3 schools: Tulane University, university of Wisconsin madison, and indiana university Bloomington. I’ve visited all three and I’ve loved all three. I plan on double majoring in marketing and computer science, with a minor in French.
My draw to madison: inexpensive (in state tuition), fun city with lots to do, Midwestern nice, great computer science program, good business school, fun Greek life, lots of school spirit
My draw to Indiana: fun Greek life, lots of school spirit, cute college town, beautiful campus, honors college, Kelley school of business (#4 marketing program)
My draw to Tulane: beautiful campus, walkable campus, school not overwhelmingly big, incredible location, rich culture, 26% acceptance rate, easy to access teachers/other faculty
I know in the end this is my decision to make, but some insight on these schools would be great. I also want to go to the school where I’ll have the most opportunities outside of college and I’ll be able to find a job easily.

Have you been accepted at all three? If so, how different are the costs for you? Run the numbers here, and see what you think: http://www.finaid.org/calculators/awardletteradvanced.phtml

Yes I’ve been accepted to all 3! @happymomof1‌ Indiana is the most expensive at $37,000 then Tulane at $34,500 and Madison at $27,000

Marketing esp market research is very strong at UW too. As is French. CS is clearly a UW win. Biz recruiting at UW and IU are pretty equal. Tulane–not as national/good.

Are you a direct admit into Kelley? Not an easy transfer in Soph year especially if you rush a frat frosh year. UW is very hard to beat on that list, especially when you throw in the CS double major. Tulane has a major advantage if you want a smaller school experience.

Your pros for Wisconsin and Indiana seem very similar, and given that you have in-state tuition at Wisconsin I would eliminate Indiana solely for that reason.

So I would choose between Tulane and Wisconsin. And I would only choose Tulane in this case if going to a small/medium-sized school is a really important thing to you. School spirit, a fun Greek life, and good business and computer science programs also seem to be important to you, though, and for those the quality of your experience might be better at Wisconsin - it’s hard to beat the school spirit of a big Division I school (I know Tulane is Div I too, but it’s not the same).

@knightcub‌ I am a DA into Kelley, which is why it’s a tough decision between UW and Indiana
