Turning 24 in October 2012, do I still need parent's tax information for FAFSA?

A little background: I took 3 years off after graduating high school to work full time. I went back to a community college and never applied for financial aid since I was able to pay everything upfront. However, I'm transferring to a 4 year university this fall and it's my first time filling out FAFSA.

I've read that you need to include your parents' tax information for the previous year on FAFSA. I'm still 23 right now but I'm turning 24 this October, which would allow me to file as an independent student. Will I still need to include both my parent's tax information or will I only just have to fill out my own? This would make the process a lot easier, especially since my dad is in Canada right now for work-related reasons and won't be back until mid February. I'm still classified as a dependent on their tax forms since I'm under their health insurance policy, but I'm not sure if that would matter.

received answer, thanks
