<p>There are only finite number of spots of full rides for internationals, even including below average US colleges. Unless a student has connections, s/he needs to realize that the competition for each of those will be tough. So don’t hang up on having to go to US for college. If the full ride admission comes, then great.</p>
<p>For full rides, one typically needs to be one of the top students in a top high school in the home country. SAT may not be that important for internationals, but if the SAT is worse, one needs to make up in other academic performance compared to other similar applicants. Ask yourself why you are better than other applicants from your country and try to show those through your applications.</p>
<p>To answer the original question, no, don’t ask anybody to comment on your SAT scores. The less attention you bring to it, the better.</p>
