Tutoring my sister a "family responsibility"?

So my sister is six years younger than me and is really smart for her age. She has trouble being challenged in her school so for the last couple years I tutor her for a few hours a week in stuff she wouldn't learn at that age, mostly higher level math and some grammar/writing.

Should I report that? I definitely devote a good amount of time to it, what with planning lessons and such, but it's not really a 'responsibility' in that it's not expected of me, I just do it to help her.

I think that it might make a good essay topic. I don’t know about it being family responsibility or an EC. I think it should count, but I can’t say what colleges would think.
