I was wondering how much people charge hourly for tutoring. Currently have a few students for the summer for 70- 90/hour? Having a hard time finding more students though

Lower your price and gain traction and create a buzz. We had a guy that was a researcher grad student from University of Chicago charge $60/hour. We did like 1.5 hour sessions but he never really looked at the clock. If they were working on something they just continued. So if he went 10 or 20 minutes over it just wasn’t a big deal to him. For parents this is great and never took advantage of this. This was his doing. He was very cool and laid back. He sold packages like packages of 6 or 10 or whatever we wanted. So for Act prep getting 10 sessions for $600 is a bargain in Chicago. Plus he was excellent at what he did.
Yea, I usually end up staying like 10-15minutes more if we are talking or still on a topic. I’ll try to implement your advice!
