YES, Skins!! but I’m not sure if the US versions is going to be any good…

and I think the second season of Glee has been pretty awful in general compared to the first season… although I do love Darren Criss’s Teenage Dream :)

@raven, the show is incredibly clich

Pretty Little Liars is my obsession and this half of the season is actually really good… I think a lot of the actors took acting lessons in August when they were on break. XD

But I second British TV… not Skins though, but Merlin. Merlin is pure awesomeness. And the four leads are eye candy. (Colin Morgan and Bradley James are so amazing…)

I watch Jeopardy! and Outsourced. Other than that, I usually watch the news (France24, AlJazeera, Euronews, Telemundo).

^^ I know. Shay Mitchell’s acting has gotten a thousand times better.

The League
Mad Men
South Park

yeh

Actually, I’d recommend that you stay away from Torchwood. It’s … unusual at best, but mostly just kind of terrible, though I’ve admittedly heard some very good things about its Children of Earth mini-series. (But that’s the third series, so you’ll have to slog your way through the first two seasons. I made it through the first season and then gave up. That’s several hours of my life that I’ll never be able to get back.) My favorite review:

I mean, if you’re into watching guys make out on screen with other guys, aliens, and girls (in that order, I think) for absolutely no reason at all, go for it! Otherwise, it’s mostly just embarrassingly bad.

Instead, for British TV, stick with Doctor Who, *Life on Mars/i, and Sherlock. I’ve heard Misfits is great as well.

Also, Canadian shows! Both Slings & Arrows and Due South are amazing, even though they’ve been off the air for forever.

@francaisalamatt: Oh, I know that Glee is supposed to be clich

Royal pain and House FTW!!! Occasionally scrubs/friends/everybody loves raymond

Oh I lovelovelove Royal Pains! I cannot wait for the 20th!

I second that! My favourite British shows are:

I don’t like Life on Mars because of its storyline. Yucks.

My favourite American shows are:

Doctor Who is great, too. I just got into Torchwood because I love John Barrowman. :D

Hmm, what else? I do think that Pretty Little Liars is a great guilty pleasure. My friends and I write really detailed analyses (and we’re people with multiple APs each).
