true.....but the football team sucks now and thats what that city is known for. More than being hte richest state in america...

Texas also has the 40th lowest IQ of any American state at 92. Link to my data here and observe how smart states voted in favor of Kerry in 2004 :-) This one is always popular

http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm

Is it really the richest state? Anyways, I can't exactly say Texas sucks, b/c I have friends living over there, and that would be insulting.

If it is the richest it would make sense considering it's the biggest state as well as one of the most populous

Either Texas, or maybe California. They both get alot of immigrants though, don't they?

California is the most populous, with Los Angeles at the 2nd highest populated city in the US. New York City is first. But I think California is in a lot of debt, and our governor is the Terminator. :( People routinely drive hybrid cars 30 miles to get a Pinkberry, and they think that they are "Green" and get nose jobs for their 16th birthdays. It's so common that by the time they're 30, no one can even remember if it's their natural nose or not.

Its not the richest state it has the richest city I have some friends that live over in south lake there aren't a lot of mexicans there dallas has like 60% mexican and that's one of the reasons we have some fat cities

so... You're saying that Mexicans are fat. Ok. I'm wearing a bit thin right now...

so... You're saying that Mexicans are fat. Ok. I'm wearing a bit thin right now...

I'm not saying mexicans are fat I'm saying that they are typically lower income and the lower the income the increased likelihood of obesity .

Wouldn't it be the other way around? considering they couldn't afford food lol. What are you talking about, I don't know about texas but in georgia there aren't many fat homeless people.

I'm not saying homeless poor and generally the poorer you are the less likely you are going to make healthy eating decisions you're going to eat more mcdonalds (which is disgusting I don't eat there) than you are to eat kashi

It's not exactly their fault. When you're working two jobs, do you have time to buy expensive organic fresh foods and then cook them? Not only that, there aren't alot of supermarkets, they all live in the city (which is overeall worse for your health), and fast food is, well, faster, and cheaper. I could go on about how being richer gives you more time to exercise, manage your life, hang out with friends, etc...

That's what I was saying

I think we've covered a lot of stereotypes here:

Immigrant workers are fat

Guys concerned with their looks are gay

Gay guys are girly men

Brits are pale

Texans are the t*ts because they have a big state

I'm probably forgetting a few

Califorrrniaaa is the best of the fifty nifty united states, from thirteen original co-lo-nies!

woah, i didn't know that an average human's IQ could go as low as 92 O_O I thought that if it was below 100, then you were mentally disabled or something? HAHA look at http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm again (someone already posted this) you'll see how strangely it correlates with the 2004 elections.

No if its below 70 its mentally disabled 100 is the average and texas used to be its own country no other state can say that

lol yeah I was the one who posted that link :-)

So what, it's not a country anymore! So what does it matter that it used to be? It seems that the only reason it matters to most Texans is so they can use it as bragging rights... Your attitude to Texas reminds me of that of a lot of the Texans at my school. I've never quite understood why Texans feel the need to brag so much about their state when you never see people from, say, MA and CT, bragging about how great their state is. When it all comes down to it, no matter what state in the US you're from, you're American...

They don't brag because there isn't anything really to brag about texas is bigger and better and have yall seen the new cowboys stadium that is amazingness the only bad thing about texas is the weather and the fact that there aren't any good college prep schools
