Two Common app questions- please help!!!

<p>1) the short statement about activities, it says less than 150 words but i can put 300 words in. will my essay get cut off when the application is submitted if i leave it more than 150 words?</p>

<p>2) i want to put the specific college (in the university) i am applying to, but how can i do so if i am submiting the same application to five schools? i read somewhere you can submit the common app to one school, then change it and submit it to another school and so on. can anyone clarify? thanks!</p>

<p>1: dont go over 150 words, theyll think you cant read instructions/the prompt.</p>

<p>2: just copy paste it into word and change the name of the school, simple.</p>

<p>hm, which schools are you applying to? i see you are from florida, but im not familiar with the many of the chains of schools there.</p>

<p>here in the california its the UCs, so its slightly different.</p>

<p>When you click the submit button, it will show each of your colleges on your college list and beside each one, there will be checkmarks. Check one of them to send it to a certain college. After that, you can go back to your application and make the needed changes and repeat.</p>
