I recently graduated from high school and I am currently taking classes at two different community colleges. In one school, I'm taking three classes and I'm doing well in all of them. In the other school, I'm taking two classes and I'm not doing so well. The last day to drop is November 15 so I'm planning to drop both classes at the CC I'm not doing well in. Am I required to send a transcript from the school I'm dropping classes with when I apply as a transfer student later? Will I be penalized heavily for dropping these classes? I'm planning to retake the same classes later at a different CC because I am moving. I know there's a way for colleges to see all the schools you've attended but what if you just completely drop out of that school? It's also just two classes. Please let me know!

Here’s a statement about transfer requirements at a very typical university: “Applicants are required to submit official transcripts from ALL colleges attended.” That seems pretty clear to me.

You are required to submit transcripts from all colleges attended. Your Ws shouldn’t effect you at all.
