Two early apps?

not a joke, i'm a junior, and i have the option of graduating early... this was moreso a test of the admissions office, to see if i'm qualified, if i got accepted then yes i'd graduate, i just thought that columbia was EA like MIT so i checked it off... it's all good though, i already withdrew my columbia early and put it as regular

How is Cornell that different from Columbia? I'm applying to both and haven't seen a major difference other than location.

Geez.. Isn't location a big enough difference?

UMMMM- The schools are so opposite its not even funny. Besides the location which is huge because one is in the middle of new york city and one is in the middle of nowhere, Cornell is HUGE and Columbia is relatively small, Columbia has a core reuired curriculum, I'm not really sure about Cornell...In my mind, theyre nothing alike.

I like Columbia and Brown... and no other Ivies. (And I don't like Columbia and Brown because of their Ivy status.. there are so many other reasons).
And I'm beginning to like other schools as well!!!
Occidental College doesn't sound too bad... If all else fails, I think I wouldn't mind Oxy..:) If you look on the bright side of life... There's SOOOO many possibilities!

Hmm.. but Cornell... it really is in the middle of nowhere....with around 15,000 Undergrads yeh? EEK! Sounds more like a huge state school..

University of Florida has 33,000 Undergrads!

EEk.. even biggerrr.... I could never go to sucha huge school!

UTexas = ~50,000 o my beloved safety school...

glory, im me

does freakish have a thing for glory? lol

oh yes... Glory IM ME NOW! I need to fulfill my cyber-attraction towards you by reading your words. Oh, If only I had never applied to Columbia and searched this board, I would never have met you. The horrors...

I think it's a hypothetical question/situation?
Ie. "compare cornell and columbia" for him.

not so much anymore, i already withdrew columbia ed, and made it regular

o thank god u did that.. thank u so much!
one less competition! :)

cheers!

and freakish.. i really thought so ;) good luck with ur cyber endeavors...

" this was moreso a test of the admissions office, to see if i'm qualified," what do u mean by that?

i wanted to see if i could get in, if i get rejected by all my schools... i'll stay for antoehr year, if i get in, i'll graduate... that's what i meant by test, and i doubt i was very good competition, so it's not that much off ya

cujoe169 I could be mistaken but I think that selective institutions require you to graduate from high school--I know a kid who got into NYU but he didn't graduate and they rescinded his acceptance.

oh never mind I understand what you meant now

i'm still confused.. but doesn't matter.
you're going for cornell ed.. :)

u guys are so paranoid, i'm one person, who had mediocre stats at best, plus i'm a junior, i wasn't much competition
