So if you are 00S how are you going to pay the 30k in tuition on a 0 EFC. The FA that you have will not even cover half of the tuition, not to mention room and board. This is not a financially feasible option. You are not going to get any more aid to attend Rutgers as they do not give generous aid to their own in-state residents. What is your home state
I believe this is SEOG. This grant is NOT guaranteed across all colleges. Each college has limited SEOG funds…and awards them as the college determines.
Pell, OTOH, is an entitlement…so it should be the same at ALL colleges. With a $0 FAGSA EFC, the Pell would be about $5900.
It is very possible NOT to get SEOG as part of all your financial aid awards!
If you are an OOS student with a $0 EFC, it’s very very possible the Rutgers campuses are not affordable.
