i really like foreign languages and i'm taking two- french 4 and spanish 2, i'm a highschool junior. i also may want to graduate early to travel or do something useful with one of the languages.. would this help me in getting into college?

I think top colleges would prefer to see you complete a full four years of high school and then apply for admissions. If you get accepted, you can always defer your enrollment for one year usually to do something PRODUCTIVE with your time. (This can include travel - but if it were within the context of a program such as study abroad or a home stay, this would be a valid reason.)

yeah i think you're right. one more question- does taking two languages make me look more unique than other applicants?

I...Guess? I mean, it can't hurt to show you have a passion for something.

I'm hesitant to say it would make a giant difference, though, as I'd guess that the number of multilingual students at Wes exceeds that of most schools-- We have many, many international students thanks to the Freeman program and I remember freshman year there were a ridiculous number of people in my dorm that got 5s on at least one language AP. One of my friends in particular is somewhat of a language masochist-- She's taken nothing but language classes for the last two years (she speaks Korean, French, Spanish, Russian, and wants to do Japanese next). You guys can be friends :)
