I am a senior applying to Penn and was contacted by two different alum for interviews. I didn’t respond to them yet and emailed the school. Does anyone know what happened?
@randomsguy, I’m a Princeton interviewer. Princeton sends the applicant names/contact info to the regional alumni schools committee, and the head of the regional committees assigns interviewers. I’m guessing that Penn works basically the same way.
My hunch is that there was a mixup on the local end of things, and 2 alums got your info. You might want to reply to both alums in one email and explain that you heard from both of them to ask them how they want to handle it.
