Hey I'm in a triple and wondering if anyone can tell me if there are two or three desks in the room? Ill be in de neve next year. THANKS!!!

triple = three desks :rolleyes:

Are you sure? I thought the third person gets to use a cardboard box as a desk. :confused: :D

no the people in the lounges get the cardboard boxe.... um, I mean, wonderful, high quality desks :)

Aren't inexpensive all desks essentially cardboard? That 'high density cardboard glued together' that you can get at IKEA? :)

UCLA dorm room furniture is pretty much all solid wood (and the occasional metal frame bed). :eek: im guessing thats where most of our housing costs go to. :D

UCLA should invest in japanese-style futons. Saves money cause there's no frame or anything. Saves space too.

Futons won't work for triples, since you can't loft them to accomodate the third futon. :rolleyes:

yeah actually the dorm furniture is pretty heavy duty wood - and the desks are bloody heavy, so get your moving in before you load them down with all your stuff :)

i second what Icarus said... if you wanna move any furniture around, definitely do it before you put all your junk in or else its near impossible to move anything.
