For one, how is the AP German test? We don't have AP German or anything, but I'm in my fourth year and might want to take it.

Secondly, when do you typically send your AP scores? Do colleges prefer you send them when you apply as part of your application, or just wait and if you get accepted send them in if you qualify for credit? I'm not really sure how that process works.

thanks for any info

I'm in AP German right now (it's my fourth year of German right now), and I've looked at a lot of practice exams, and they're really not that difficult at all. I guess I'm not a good person to ask, though, because my school has an absolutely stellar German program and I happen to be really good at German! If you think your teacher is good, you've probably been well prepared...just study some extra vocabulary (if it's your fourth year you should know all of the grammar well) so that you can sound good in the written section. Hope that helped! Go to the collegeboard.com website and look at the sample exams.

AP scores are self-reported on the application, and then once you get in, you send them the official report and they begin to place you. You should definitely write down any scores you've accumulated so far.
