One hell of a letter of recommendation from the UC Berk. PhD who taught my AP Chemistry class.
Drama club, ballet forever, lots of volunteer work, independent foreign travel, an absolute art-nut, etc, etc.
My big interest is the sciences, though. I’m looking for a doctoral(s) in biochemistry or neuroscience.</li>

<p>Am I wanted at Bard?</p>

<li>Specifically, am I wanted as a Distinguished Scientist Scholar? Does anyone know what it takes to get one of those damn awards? Do I have a chance? My essay was decent, I think… unless I focused too much on the philosophy/ethics of n. plasticity and didn’t drop enough technical terms.</li>
