<li><p>I’ve often heard the idea that for college apps, it’s advantageous to apply online. Personally, though, I want to do paper, just for the “feel” of it. Is it worth sacrificing this quirky need?</p></li>
<li><p>I’m pretty politically active (Dem) and have mentioned it. My mom thinks it’ll do me harm to do so because “those ivy league people are conservative”. I think I should go ahead, and have some trust that the readers are trained to look past personal bias. What do you guys think?</p></li>

<li><p>Mention it. Any significant involvement in an activity is an asset, within reason. And the Ivy League in general is liberal, although Princeton has a significant conservative minority.</p></li>
