Tx. Tech VS. A & M, in science/biology

Looking at both schools, also UT, but I think I know the deal there.

How do Tech and A & M science departments compare? Particularly Bio. Pre-Med, and looking at both. Tech has med school on site and I hear great things about that. A & M has access too.

WHICH IS A HARDER CURRICULUM? I just wonder how they compare. I like both campuses. Just want to make sure I get a strong background for MCAT and Med School....BUT no need to bang my head against a wall if one is more cut throat, or profs DON'T give A's. OR!!! If many lower classes are taught by TA's with the purpose of weeding out the bottom 90%!!

COmments???

thanks

Where can you get into Honors program and get better financial aid?

I 2nd what YaYa said, Honors Program & financial aid would be my main deciding factor. I’m looking into transferring & those are my top requirements (history major). Looking at TAMU, Tech & Texas State.

Both. $ isn’t my number one issue. 3rd paragraph are my issues. :)

Start looking at faculty rating websites. I don’t think you have to worry about not receiving a strong enough background to do well on the MCAT.
