Typo in supplement essay

In my supplement essay, I accidentally wrote "tenants" instead of "tenets" -- obviously a glaring and horrible error on my part. What should I do about this? Would it be obnoxious to e-mail a revised version of my essay or call the admissions office about it?

Thanks!

TAKE A DEEP BREATH! I misspelled a word completely on my extracurricular list but was accepted. They understand that you are a human being.

Not meaning to take over this thread, but may I add my question as well? On my common app, one sentence is messed up because I forgot to take out two words (I couldn’t choose between “who argue about” and “who allow.” I went with the latter in my head, but apparently forgot to take out the former. So now it’s “who argue about who allow”). Is this a big deal? Can someone please reflect on it with a personal experience?
