<p>This is a question for anyone familiar with U Maryland's application. I saw that there are Limited Enrollment Programs. For example, I am interested in majoring in Finance(Smith School of Business) at UM. However, I am also going to put Economics (College of Behavioral Sciences) as my alternate major name. On the application it mentioned that if you are not admitted into one of the Limited Enrollment programs then you are placed in the school of Letters and Sciences. My question is this....if for some reason I am not accepted into Finance, will they possibly place me in Economics(which is not a limited enrollment program to my knowledge) or will they place me automatically into the school of letters and sciences?</p>
